Speaking separately , TNA politicians, led by Kiambu Senator, Kimani
Wamatangi, Anna Nyokabi (County MP) and Kimani Ichungwa (Kikuyu MP)
said Raila and his CORD team should not be allowed to hold a rally at KICC and
their planned demonstrations across the country because their aim is to
incite Kenyans against the Jubilee Government.
Wamatangi noted that CORD’s motive is to make the country ungovernable
and trigger violence similar to the one in 2007 post election violence which
left over 1 , 300 people dead.
“It is unthinkable that leaders who witnessed the 2007 PEV can crisscross the
country inciting their supporters against the Government by using
disrespectful words against President Uhuru Kenyatta who was elected by
majority of Kenyans”, said Wamatangi.
The Kiambu leaders demanded that Raila Odinga and his entire brigade
respects President Kenyatta and his Deputy , William Ruto, lest they will land
in deep trouble.
