Senator, Dr. Boni Khalwale, has
maintained that President Uhuru
Kenyatta and his Deputy , William Ruto,
must be impeached for Kenya to grow.
Speaking in Baba Dogo during a CORD
rally , Khalwale, who is in trouble for
heckling President Uhuru Kenyatta in
Bungoma recently , reiterated his earlier stand calling on President Uhuru
Kenyatta and his Deputy , to resign willingly and let former Prime Minister
Raila Odinga take over the reins of power or face impeachment because they
have failed Kenya.
Khalwale castigated Uhuru/ Ruto over tribal appointments in Government
say ing he is waiting for the impeachment motion to be brought on the floor of
the House and he will personally lobby MPs and Senators sack them.
“A good Government should give its people jobs and not sack them and
replace all of them with people from a single community . It is now clear that
Jubilee has failed in its mandate to unite people and create jobs. I am waiting
for the National Assembly to bring that impeachment motion and I will ask
Uhuru and Ruto one, two three questions and they will be out”, said Khalwale.
