presidential candidate and UDF Leader,
Musalia Mudavadi, has begun his journey
to State House in 2017 .
Mudavadi, who is a close ally of President
Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy , William
Ruto, launched a new party structure at
the UDF
Lamu retreat that will see him
beat Raila Odinga and Uhuru Kenyatta
with a landslide to become President in 2017 .

The former Deputy Prime Minister activated the Party County Government
Group (PCGG) comprising Ward Reps and Governors, with MCAs nominating
4 representatives to the UDF National Executive Council, 4 others to the
Political Council and a Party ’s Chief Whip who will sit in both organs.
UDF’s rebranding is aimed at giving the party a national appeal in order to
give Uhuru and Raila a run for their money in 2017 .
Mudavadi noted that the 2013 elections was just but a rehearsal for him and
that come 2017 , Kenyans from all walks of life will overwhelmingly vote for
him as President since he is the only none-tribal leader in Kenya.
He emerged a distant third in the 2013 General Elections after Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga.
