The Political Parties Dispute Tribunal has sealed the fate of six nominated senators by expelling them from the membership of Jubilee for going against the party's tribunal.

The tribunal upheld the decision by the Jubilee party's national management committee after deliberating on the reports by the party's disciplinary committee saying they were in order to dismiss them.

Millicent Omanga is among the six senators. Others are Isaac Mwaura, Mary Seneta, Falhada Iman, Naomi Wako, and Victor Prengei, all of whom had filed their complaints following the expulsion.

"There are people who feel so powerful they think they can just threaten us. I will let you all know that we are not threatened. I will support hustlers no matter what, so they can do whatever they see fit," stated Omanga.

The decision will now be communicated to the Jubilee party which will subsequently write to the registrar of political parties and the parliament requesting the names of the senators be removed as members of Jubilee.

The National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC) had also summoned Omanga and Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa, among 10 other MPs, for supposed involvement in violence during recent elections.

"These summons do not just indicate our intention to investigate and prosecute but rather also indicate the plan of the Commission to stop the unethical people from occupying the office," stated NCIC Chairman Rev. Dr. Samuel Kobia.

Kobia stated that NCIC would ascertain that the leaders involved in publicizing violence during elections would face the maximum punishment.

"We will ensure the purveyors of hate and ethnic contempt are in jail, and as they wait to go to jail, we will put them out of the leadership of this country and ensure they never run again in this country," he declared.

The ongoing Jubilee purge has seen Deputy President William Ruto hang in the balance as he waits for the President to convene an executive council meeting to approve of UDA.

"Going forward, if we do not come to an agreement, we will work in UDA as we know it. UDA has collaborated with Jubilee to bring about developments," stated Ruto.
