LEAKED: Governor Kidero SPEECH that tells UHURU to stop attending only FUNERALS in Nyanza

Your Excellency, Mr President, the Hon. Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta. The Hon Dalmas Otieno; Your Excellency Okoth Obado, Governor of Migori. Excellencies fellow governors, members of parliament present, friends of Dalmas, leaders from this region, fellow LUOS.It is not always easy to mourn the passing of a child. A man who has lost a wife is called a widower. A womanwho has lost her husband is called a widow. Children who have lost parents are called orphans. But the English language has no word to describe a parent who has lost a child.
What Hon Dalmas and Mama Nereah feels today is indescribable. With so much in her future, Nereah’spassing was so untimely. We are hereto share that pain. I bring here the heartfelt condolences of my own house, and those of the city people of Nairobi.Take courage, my friend Dalmas.
Your excellency, welcome back again to Nyanza. It is only unfortunate that you visit us when there are funerals [laughter]. We hope your next visit will be to launch a project in this region. And your excellency, May I add that you are welcome in this region any time. Feel free to visit. It is also partof Kenya. Nyanza is Kenya [laughter].And we intend to remain here. Because we are so resilient.
For as old as this nation, this part of the country has always dreamt of having ‘its own’ seated on your seat. But like with all dreams, we have woken up just when we were almost on top.Sometimes, we have been rudely awoken only to see the dream heading back to the mountains.Of course, we will keep on dreaming [laughter]. Our dreams are valid [chants, laughter].
Your Excellency, for five decades now,the people of this region have checked authoritarianism, kept democracy alive and now there seemsto be a consensus on what’s more important – development. And Nyanza will develop. This region will grow. Because we are so resilient.
But we love politics too [laughter]. Unlike your funerals, ours are more of a celebration of life. And when we celebrate we talk. And when we talk we politic. My friend Hon Dalmas. I know youare building some house. I would have wished you remain in our big house but you are now a man yourself. I wish you well.
Our people,Siasa tek. Gini yudo tek. Wayua uruwiwa. Ng’ani [ker] to wabiro golo. To kata ka otamowa to ja lang’o ma sani giwuondo cha nyaka wagol. Donge ung’eye? Erouru kamano!
As I conclude, I once again share myheartfelt sorrow with the family of [Dalmas] Otieno Anyango.
Thank you.
