LUOs vow to boycott Citizen TV after JULIE GICHURU called for the arrest of ALAI.

Members of Luo community have vowed to boycott watching Citizen TV after Julie Gichuru called for the arrest of Robert Onyango Alai. Reacting on social media, the rambunctious members of the Luo community said they will stop watching Citizen TV because the station has been targeting members of their community. On Thursday, Julie Gichuru’s husband, Tony, filed charges against Robert Alai for linking him and Deputy President William Ruto to Langata and Ruai land grabbing scandals. Robert Alai was arrested the same day and detained at Muthaiga Police Station only to be released on Friday after paying a cash bail of Sh 50,000. The Gichurus allegedly colluded with Criminal Investigations Department (CID) Director, Ndegwa Muhoro, to see to it that the fearless blogger is arrested. Julie Gichuru has so far denied those claims.
