Five siblings were burnt to death in a fire that razed their house and about 100 others in Nairobi's Kibera slum on Thursday night.
Police say they were sleeping when the fire started at one of the other houses at around 10pm.
They suspect that an electrical fault caused it.
Three of those injured in the incident are admitted at Kenyatta National Hospital.
Emergency services personnel are currently at the slum helping to resettle those who were displaced.
