A section of Jubilee coalition MPs now want the
Government to investigate former Prime
Minister, Raila Odinga, over his public
utterances to the effect that a political
Tsunami is on the way in Kenya.
Speaking over the weekend at various
functions, the MPs said Raila is planning a
“political coup” and demanded his arrest to provide police with more
information.
The MPs said Raila’s statement on a pending political storm is worry ing and
could distabilise the country .
The lawmakers also accused Raila of try ing to intimidate a democratically
elected President.
The MPs were Thika Town MP, Alice Ngang’a, Murang’a Women
Representative, Sabina Wachege and Deputy Speaker of the National
Assembly , Kembi Gitura.
Sabina Wachege said the opposition was planning a “political coup” a thing
that should not be tolerated by the Jubilee administration.
Calling CORD leaders “small boy s,” Wachege said President Uhuru Kenyatta
and his Deputy , William Ruto, who are real men should deal with CORD
leaders once for all.
