Was MUCHAI assassinated by a special hit squad from the police? WETANGULA’s take

Bungoma Senator and CORD co­principal, Moses Wetangula, has demanded thorough investigations into the brutal murder of Kabete MP and Jubilee legislator, George Muchai. Venting on social media, Wetangula said that the assassination of Muchai could have a political angle saying someone is out to eliminate politicians with divergent views. The CORD leader insinuated that there would be a special hit squad formed by Government to assassinate politicians in the country and could be responsible for Muchai’s untimely death. “Who killed Hon George Muchai & why?? This is one leader too many!!Weta demands thorough investigations,” said Wetangula on twitter. “Was Hon Muchai attacked by a special hit squad??” he asked. Wetangula blamed Uhuru/ Ruto’s Government for making the country unsafe for politicians saying even the attempt on his life last year was real but Jubilee dismissed it but they will believe now that one of their own is dead. “The killing of Hon Muchai. Another sad day in our unsafe/ unpredictable political history. Get the killers,” Wetangula said. “When there are attempts on our lives, police blame billboards until what has happened to Muchai happens,” he added
