MUCHAI’s death only shows UHURU/ RUTO have failed this country ‐ RAILA ODINGA

Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga has once again condemned the chilling assassination of Kabete MP and Jubilee strongman, George Muchai, terming it beastly and a wake up call for Kenyans to demand protection and security from the Government of President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy, William Ruto. Speaking at Lee Funeral Home when he went to view the lifeless body of the late Kabete legislator and condole with his family, Raila noted that Muchai’s death only proves what CORD has been saying that the level of insecurity in the country was at its record high thanks to Uhuru/ Ruto. The former PM accused Uhuru/ Ruto of failing the country when it comes to security, saying ordinary Kenyans are at more risk in Kenya today if well guarded national leaders like Muchai can be assassinated in cold blood right in the middle of the city in the full glare of CCTV cameras. “The brutal murder of Hon. Muchai only proves Uhuru/ Ruto have failed the country. No one is safe anymore,” said Raila.
