UK could be arming AL SHABAAB in a roundabout way - House of Commons Mps say.

The British Government has been blamed for equipping Al Shabaab militia in Somalia and other radical gatherings in Africa.
This is as indicated by House of Common Mps who said the volume of weaponry traded to East Africa for the last 15 months is suspicious.

As indicated by the UK weaponry detail, the British Government sent out in excess of 44,000 firearms to East Africa, South Africa and Egypt in the last 15 months. Among the weapons were 30,000 attack rifles, 2,536 guns and 1 1 ,000 rifles which ended up in countries with poor human rights records like Somalia, Egypt and South Africa.

The Mps who are party to the House of Commons Arms Export Controls Trustees charged that the sheer volume of weapons being traded to East Africa is a decent indictator that the UK Government could be by implication equipping extremists like Al Shabaab.
The Mps said they will summon the Defense Minister to clarify why there are a ton of weapons traded to East Africa and there is no nation which is at war.

This new report comes a day after Al Shabaab contenders struck a Kenyan town on Sunday night killing in excess of 60 individuals and harming handfuls.
Locals said the militias were using sophisticated weapons like Rocket Propelled Grenades (RPGS) and automatic rifles.
